Tenacious D, the musical duo comprised of Kyle Gass and the multi-talented actor/comedian Jack Black, is nothing short of a powerhouse in the world of rock comedy.

Their September 14th performance at the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX, was nothing short of phenomenal. This dynamic duo delivered an electrifying performance that had the capacity audience on their feet, singing along, and thoroughly entertained from start to finish. 

Jack Black’s larger-than-life personality shone brightly throughout the show, bringing a unique blend of humor and charisma to the stage. His interactions with the audience were a highlight, creating an engaging and memorable experience. Meanwhile, Kyle Gass showcased his exceptional guitar prowess, demonstrating his musical mastery with skillful and passionate guitar solos that left the crowd in awe.

Squeeze – Las Vegas 10/14/23

Squeeze’s performance at The Pearl (in the Palms Casino) was a remarkable testament to their enduring talent and stage presence. In a career spanning several decades and marked by numerous challenges and changes, the band delivered a show that surpassed expectations. The audience witnessed a living jukebox of songs that pleased the audience with something for everyone. 

The band’s current lineup of founding members Glenn Tillbrook and Chris Difford, features accomplished musicians like Simon Hanson, Stephen Large, Steve Smith, Melvin Duffy, and Owen Biddle, added fresh energy and personality to every song. The synergy between these talented individuals was palpable, enhancing the overall performance.

Classic hits like “Pulling Muscles (from the shell)”, “Tempted” and “Cool for Cats” led to electrifying solo performances by each member during “Black Coffee In Bed/Is That Love”. Melvin’s searing guitar solo, Stephen Large’s lively keyboard antics, Steve Smith’s percussion showcase, Owen’s thumping bass solo, and Simon Hanson’s drumming prowess left the audience in awe. The band’s energy and musicianship were truly exceptional.

The Smashing Pumpkins brought The World Is A Vampire Tour to the Dos Equis Pavilion entertaining the audience with a brilliantly orchestrated light show that accentuated the evening of classic songs from the bands deep catalogue of fan favorites as well as covers of the Talking Heads “Once In A Lifetime” and Manfred Mann’s “Hubble Bubble (Toil and Trouble). The 21 song set included hits and rarities that satisfied the audiences hunger for a performance that would take them on a satisfying career journey of the bands music.

As the third opening act for headliner Yellowcard, following Anberlin’s powerful set, Mayday Parade took the stage and delivered a performance that was nothing short of extraordinary.

Mike + The Mechanics Refueled in Northampton

Mike + The Mechanics performed at  Royal & Derngate in Northampton on April 30, 2023 bringing the Refueled Tour, with a drop of Genesis to adoring fans! With Mike Rutherford at the helm of guitars and bass, Andrew Roachford on vocals and keys, Tim Howar on vocals, Luke Juby on keyboard, Anto Drennan on guitars and bass, and rounding out the rhythm, Nic Collins on drums, the band ran through a setlist of the greatest hits of both bands. Starting the night with Get Up, and running the gambit from Let Me Fly, Are You Ready, All I Need Is A Miracle and the Genesis classics Jesus He Knows Me, Invisible Touch, I Can’t Dance as well as adding Nobody’s Perfect to the setlist, the audience cherished every note of the 21 song performance.
